Ragi flour- 1 cup
Rice flour-1/4 cup
Salt-to taste
Oil-2 tsp
Water-1 1/2 cup
Method:
1.Add the ragi flour and the rice flour in a pan and dry roast for 3-4 mins.Set aside.
2.Boil the water in a wide vessel with salt and oil.
3.When the water starts to boil,keep the stove in simmer,add the dry roasted flour and stir nicely combining the flour together to form a dough consistency.
4.Close this dough with a lid and let it rest for 10-15 mins.
5.Once cooled,knead the dough to make it soft.
6.Make small balls to your desired size.
7.In a chapathi maker,dust some dry flour and start rolling into a thin chapathi.
9.Once you see bubbles starting turn them and give a press.
10.The chapathi starts to puff up like a poori.
11.Cook for few more seconds and once done transfer it to a plate.
12.Soft ragi chapathis are now ready to be served with any curries or kurma.
