KAMBU/BAJRA (PEARL MILLET) ADAI

KAMBU ADAI

Ingredients:

Kambu flour-2 cups.

Onion-1 (cut into small cubes)

Green chillies-2 (cut into small pieces)

Coconut slices-2 tbsp. (Optional)

Ginger pieces-1 tsp.(small cubes)

Sooji/Rava- 2 tbsp.

Methi /Drumstick leaves- 1 handful

Saunf/Sombu-2 tsp.

Salt - to taste

Method:

1.Add all the ingredients together and blend well.


2.Pour in water to it and mix and bring it to a idli batter consistency. 

3.Leave it aside for 10 minutes.



4.Heat a dosa tawa and add a tsp of oil.

5.Add 2 scoops of the prepared batter and spread it round to your desired thickness.

6.Sprinkle oil all over .


 7.Once cooked,flip the other side and cook till it is crisp and fully done.

8.Transfer it to a plate and serve hot with your favorite chutneys.
