JOWAR ROTI(SORGHUM,CHOLAM)

JOWAR ROTI

Ingredients:
Jowar flour -2 cups
Salt-to taste
Oil-2 tsp
Water -2 1/4 cup

Method:
1.Heat water in a kadai.
2Dry roast the jowar flour for 4-5 mins. in medium flame.
           

3.Add salt and oil and let it boil.
4.Once it starts to boil,add the roasted jowar flour and mix well.
        

        

5.Close the lid and keep it aside for 5 mins.
6.Knead the dough nicely to make a soft chapati dough consistency.
       

7.Make small balls and keep aside.
8.Start rolling the balls ,dusting with ample amount of dry jowar flour.

     

9.Cracks may appear in the corner which is common.
10.You can press a perfect round shape using any round object.
      

11.Transfer to a tawa and cook in medium flame on both sides until well cooked.



12.Serve hot with any curries,kurma,gravy.
